METC Summer Workshops
Breakout of Your Classroom & BYOB (Bring/Build Your Own Breakout)
Join us for two-days of professional learning like you’ve never experienced before. Break Out of Your Classroom & BYOB will be filled with fun, collaborative learning sessions. On day one, everyone is invited to Bring Your Own Breakout to share with others. We will learn all about the games and discuss the benefits of this creative, problem solving, team experience. On day two we will Build Your Own Breakout game, so bring your supplies and ideas! Monday, June 4 and Tuesday, June 5
Google Mania: Two-Day Mini Boot Camp
Join Google Certified Instructors in this engaging, hands-on event: Google Mania! You will immediately learn 8 -12 Google features & strategies to use in your classroom, you’ll dive into even more Google Apps, Extensions & Add-Ons. These hidden treasures will knock your socks off and have you saying WOW! Bring your Google friendly devices; laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and other Android devices to participate in this two-day boot camp of inspirational Google Mania. Google Extravaganza
Calling all newbies and ninjas: you don’t want to miss this two-day event! Designed as an extension of out popular Google Mania bootcamp, Google Extravaganza is a mix of beginner and advanced Google tools, tips, tricks, add-ons and extensions! Explore the tools and resources that best fit your needs, creating your own personal learning experience. METC Summer Institute
The 3rd annual METC Summer Institute is going to sizzle and rock! Join us for two days of making, coding, designing and more! As an extension of the annual METC Conference, the METC Summer Institute dives deeper into hands-on digital tools and resources for the creative and innovative educator. This event is a fabulous gathering of tech enthusiasts, makers, engineers, scientists, authors, artists and students…and those who like to tinker, explore and create.
