We are offering a free Discovery Education streaming class at CSD on October 8! For Missouri schools who purchase DE products through CSD, we offer this Discovery Education training on the second of Monday every month, during the 2012-13 school year (the fee is otherwise $95). DE streaming is the perfect resource to use in creating lessons that align to the Common Core State Standards. DE streaming is a digital video-on-demand service brought to educators by Discovery Communications, LLC. Come learn how you can integrate these resources & meet the Common Core State Standards! Preregistration is required.
Come learn powerful ways to integrate digital media and Web 2.0 tools into your instruction as well as discover an abundance of resources to expand your own personal learning network on April 21, 2012 (that’s just two weeks from Saturday!) at the Spring Virtual Conference offered by Discovery Education.
We are pleased to welcome Jason Altman to St. Louis’ onsite event at Cooperating School Districts. Jason will bring his expertise and knowledge of DE Assessment. Besides Jason, we will also have the MO DEN Leadership Council share even more free knowledge & support. Members Margie Rogers and Melissa Robison will host an iPad learning session and Bill Bass and Stephanie Madlinger will share strategies for using digital resources within DE streaming.
Breakfast refreshments and lunch will be provided for all attendees. (The target audience for this event includes preK through 12 classroom teachers as well as educators interested in curriculum resources, data & assessment). Please feel free to bring your own laptops, iPads, cell phones or other mobile devices and their chargers.
