What does it take to efficiently plan a successful event?

MEETINGS & EVENTS 101 takes place Friday, March 7, 2014 * through the Support Staff Academy offered by EducationPlus. This SSA session is 8:30- 11:30 am and costs $59 for members, $74 for non members.

Presenter Anne Churchill of AnnaBelle Events in Columbia, Missouri will discuss the basics of meeting planning, including how to implement your planning process effectively and efficiently. This session will be focused on the fundamentals of planning meetings and events. During the session the participants will learn the steps to confidently plan and execute a successful event. We will break down all of the elements of the planning process and take an in-depth look at the importance of goals, budget, timeline, planning tasks, and more. The information presented is intended to be general enough to apply to almost any event, regardless of size or type. After the session participants will have an understanding of the planning process and be able to take an event from idea to execution in a systematic and organized way.
