Dr. Chris McGee is a curriculum coordinator for the Webster Groves School District in the St. Louis suburban area. Chris is passionate about technology. Since his first year of teaching, he has been a leader in technological advancement in education within each of his school districts he serves. This year, Chris was selected to be a Midwest Education Technology Conference Midwest Spotlight Educator for 2014. This recognition honor leaders from the region in education technology, whose practices are making a difference for students as well as teachers.
A little more about Chris. He is a co-founder of edcampSTL, which takes place annually the weekend before METC. Chris was named a Peabody Energy Leader in Education for the 2013-14 school year. Chris has also been recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator.
