Social Studies: Gateway to the Core of Learning

NCSSThe National Council for the Social Studies Conference is in St. Louis this November 22-24. NCSS, celebrating it’s 93rd annual conference, will highlight Common Core non-fiction text strategies as well as the new social studies framework for the standards in social studies. In addition, school visits to Maplewood Richmond Heights School District and New City School are available Thursday, November 21.

There is a special offer for groups in Missouri and Illinois; register four teachers for $700-
save over $300 off regular registration rates! If they receive your registration form by October 25, they will mail your registration materials directly to you. If NCSS receives your form after October 25, but by November 18, they will process your registration, and hold your materials for pickup at onsite NCSS Registration.
