Facing the Challenge: Helping Teachers Better Work with Young Children with Challenging Behaviors | This training is designed to help early childhood professionals better understand, define, prevent, and respond to challenging behaviors. Participants will have opportunities to reflect on a child with whom they have worked, as well as view video clips from real childhood classrooms, with the outcome of developing a deeper understanding of challenging behaviors. This workshop is March 14 at Cooperating School Districts. Members pay $70, non-members pay $90; registration fees include lunch. Susan Brawley, Ed.S, will present. Susan has been working in the early childhood field for over twelve years as a trainer, Education Coordinator, college instructor and elementary teacher. She most recently worked with the University of Missouri as a Regional School-wide Positive Behavior Support Consultant. Register online by February 28.
