METC Spotlight on Krissy Venosdale

2013 Midwest Spotlight Educator Krissy Venosdale teaches gifted education in grades third through sixth for the Hillsboro R-3 School District. An eMINTS teacher, she’s passionate about STEM education, photography, differentiation, and educational technology. By sharing her own passions with the students she works with, Krissy hopes that they will find their passions and be inspired to reach for the highest star. When she’s not teaching, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter. Follow her on Twitter at @venspired.

Krissy is one of nine educators chosen as spotlight speaker at the Midwest Education Technology Conference. This special designation honors leaders from the region in education technology, whose practices are making a difference for students and teachers. METC,  a program of Cooperating School Districts, celebrates 30 years in 2013.
