Stay Organized & Become Efficient in this 21st Century World

In this May 11th RPDC workshop, participants will learn how to take short cuts with many Google Tools and Features. Google Certified Teacher Stephanie Madlinger will share the best tips & tricks to save you time and become a more effective 21st Century educator.

Did you know that you could use the basic abilities of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in an online collaborative environment? Are you interested in creating a variety of online forms for assessment through surveys, quizzes, and questionnaires? In this full day of instruction for beginners, participants will learn how Google Documents and Google Apps can support and organize your learning 24/7. Participants will explore Advanced Search techniques to discover easier ways to find images, resources and websites. Learn how to develop your own online calendar to access anytime, anywhere. Then share it with your students, parents or co-workers if you wish. We will learn how to organize your Google email with colors, tags and folders to keep your life easier. We will then dive deeper into Even More Apps. These applications are the hidden treasure of Google. Participants will be empowered by the end of this workshop to get organized over the summer!
