This weekend kids & families get the opportunity to experience their favorite books live and in-person at the Holiday Reading Festival at Crestwood Court.
The Holiday Reading Festival is a free event from December 2-4. The only cost is for items that are purchased at the Scholastic Book Fair, with proceeds benefiting the Children’s Illustrated Art Museum and CHARACTERplus, a program of Cooperating School Districts, which works to instill positive character traits in students.
Kids will have the opportunity to experience rooms decorated in different book themes, like that of the Zen Shorts, Zen Ties, and Zen Ghosts books by Jon J. Muth at the Holiday Reading Festival.
In addition, artwork from St. Louis area students will also be on display. Look for work from:

The Holiday Reading Festival kicks off tonight with a wine and cheese tasting with Bruce Degen, author and illustrator of The Magic School Bus from 6 to 8 o’clock. Click here for the invitation.
